Soleil Royal - ZHL 1/90 Scale by Paulb [COMPLETED BUILD]
QUESTION: Can anyone enlighten me about the parts for the hawser ports? From the pic below you can see the bow where they go. I can't find any reference in the instructions, so I don't know if a part is included or I need to scratch build one.
I guess you means the hawse holes - I think Marc alias @Hubac’s Historian will know best the correct location. He is studying this ship in detail !!!

Hi Paul.These are decorative panels.You only have one part,the other part is curved.Follows the shape of the cutout in newdigate.In fact, the right part should be slightly curved.All of them need to be reprofiled.And still I advise to make the décor and to insert into the neck of newdigate.The last photo I took.

Everything is fine,but I don't understand why there was such a big difference.Between the forecastle decks,quarter-decks, and side bridges.And the ladders need to be moved back and forth on the contrary.There will still be boats in the middle here.Check out the Museum models.
Vfordyce - I've attached some photos. As you can see the sails are made by Mantua for their Soleil Royal, their published scale is 1/77. I've compared the sails to all of my plans and checked the sail size with the built hull and they all look correct in size and scale. You can judge from the pictures if you want to include them in your build.

Just went back to june 19th 2020 Thats about right....
The first ships boat is finished. I still have to lash down the oars.
