Thanks for stopping in and the kind words. It is a big one, at 1:90 I didn't think it would be quite this large. Lots to plank. It will keep me busy for awhile.
Thanks for dropping in Jim and the kind words. I am very happy with the kit so far. Don't think twice about a ZHL kit you'll like it. Max did a fine job shipping it. Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated.Greeting Mike (Big)
Browsing thru your build log just realized that I am again late to the party. Impressive work and very inspiring. There so many good words about ZHL kits on our forum that eventually will plan to order one and will be referencing your build. I will be following your build for sure. Enjoy!
Hi Pat! Yes the castings are iron. White metal I believe you would call it. They are fairly detailed, I think a little thick but with some work will look pretty good. Are the castings in your kit all Iron? Mine are all plastic.. some broke when i took them out the sealed plastic.
Hi Jim. You can contact him on the ZHL web site. www.modelshipbuilder.com. I believe he is a member of the forum also now. I purchased my kit off eBay. I was hesitant of ordering direct so I spent a little more for shipping going eBay but next kit I would buy direct. From time of my order to delivery was 9 days which I thought was pretty good.Thank you for the comments, Mike. I am watching your build, be careful!!! LOL
When it comes to ZHL kits, almost everyone on this forum just talking about Max, and that a great service he can provide. I guess, it is time for me to get him and his products a little bit better. How can I contact him and learn about his services? Much appreciated in advance.
