The steam engines are the stuff I have ever built).

Will try. In the kit it is plastic+some wood+some photoetch. Will try to replace the plastic with the prass in some details...

You should be more than able to make a working steam engine, though preferably a twin cylinder. Making a non working one would be even easier.

Made upper part of the smokestack. As far as the bottom cut is angled, turned the lower ring separately.

The boiler is assembled. Now it's a time for small parts.
Still trying to replace the plastic parts with brass.
Turned the pressure gauge housing. There is another one, smaller, will follow.

If you mean the hinge which connects the lower and upper parts of the smokestack, it's the part of the kit)

Guys, help needed!
Gonna install the manometers on the boiler.
Want to make them with readable faces.
Has found some pics on the net, now need them to be printed out.
The issue is that one face is 3.7 mm in diameter, another 3.0 mm.
Can someone advise the parameters in PS for the pic to be saved? Have only jpegs. The samples are attached.
