Steam pinnace Janet

Hello all,
As adviced I moved the thread from introductions to builds.
I intend to build a steam pinnace with wood and plyboard
The model will be 1 meter lenght and 23 cm wide
This is my first RC build and any advice is great appreciated
Fair warning , English is not my first language, so mistakes will slip
Hallo @badras-khan

Hello All,
After several weeks of furious work at the office I found a bit o time for my ship
A friend cut the blanks for shipwheel fork and yesterday I got them.
I put to use a new vise with 360 orientation ( best 20 euro invested in my life)
I have to bend one part of the fork and make a hole in the other part with all the pieces aligned ( have to think a bit if I go to a square hole or a round one that make a bit of filing a piece or another )20231021_182547.jpg20231022_093609.jpg20231022_093831.jpg20231022_094111.jpg20231022_094914.jpg20231022_101832.jpg20231022_103038.jpg.
Here are the pieces till now
Kind regards, Daniel

hello All <
Today is part two of ship wheel fork
I bended the short part after a little annealing and filed a lot .
The 360 vise was awesome for that and I got some results
Now I have to solder the parts after a little polishing that will take the rest of this day20231104_102043.jpg20231104_103005.jpg20231104_112114.jpg20231104_113625.jpg20231104_122158.jpg
Kind regards,Daniel

Hello All
This is the last post for today I finished the steam engine tray in brass
Sadly the wobbler engine will not fit in my ship so I will 3d print an static steam engine and fit in the spot
After fitting the engine I can glue the next cabin wall
Happy holidays!
Daniel

Happy new year to all!
What better start in this year than to make something for your model
First I did the drawings and some paper model
I started yesterday with milling of some parts and today I did the fitting and glueing
This are the covers for the steam engine in the middle section of the ship
they will be mounting after the 3d printed stem engine arrives
Daniel
