The Anatomy of the Bounty - AL-

Frames glued. Beams cut to correct length. Only last Stern frames is not glued because I still need to glue a transom section that supports that frame.

I am bending a hull plank. Need to bend 3 more.

For future builders, if any, 2 frames were short. Frames 3 and 4 counting from the bow to stern. If you zoom you will see I added a piece of the wood and shaped it. I thought of doing both completely new. But I do not have that wood. If I do them in cherry, then I will have to do all the frames. I decided to let it as it is.

Excellent workmanship I can only imagine how difficult this build must be.

Thank you !!!

It is a built I will not recommend at all. The lack of a full hull skeleton makes things very difficult. Every time I am working on it, I just want to trash the kit. But I waited for 30+ years and I am still in love with the finished model pictures of the box and instruction manual. If at least I can achieve something similar...... will paid off all the stress to assemble it.

She is coming along beautifully Daniel and the whole construction now makes a lot more "sense" to to speak. You are doing a great job.

I agree with Heinrich. This is going to make an interesting model for display. Awesome job!

Thank you Guys and to all that posted likes. Push me to continue.

Pictures aren't the best. But I just wanted to provide a fast general look of where I was on the built.

There isn't to much to explain either, beside to say that this model resemble more a scratch built than a kit. The difference is that I don't need to do the parts from scratch. But ALL OF THEM, needs to be seriusly adjusted/adapted in a costume way and a few re-done.

"This is the way" FOR THIS KIT (Mandalorian Creed) ..... HAHAHA

Good afternoon Demo Sdg, I ask; Could you review these points more carefully? I have noticed that they are not positioned well. Excuse me for my remark, thank you

Hi, could be it is wrong for a real ship. I don't have that level of knowledge. I did it as the kit.

The picture you selected is before sanding.

After sanding

From the kit instructions manual

I hope this helps.

Yes, forgive me if I have touched your sensitivity, it is not my habit I do not allow myself the utmost respect for both the person and the model

No... NOT AT ALL !!!!!. . Please your comment was welcome!!! And it was good because after analyzing the pictures with more detail I see I have a mistake on the section I circle. I will think if I can correct it, Or leave it as it is.

Hi all

After Frank48 comments, I went and worked a little more on my frame sanding.

On this picture the hull plank do not touch the frame

I sanded more the frames.
Now the plank touch the frame

Later I will try to bend a 1.5 mm plank.

Before adding that hull plank I need to add the cargo to the ship. The plank will be on my way to access the ship interior.

Cheers

I am very happy today. I have achieved a milestone I imposed to myself. And I never though I will achieve it, as many times I wanted to use her to heat the house :-) .

Still there is work to be done on the hull. You will notice a plank is larger at the stern. Focus on the big picture because if you focus on "the small picture" you will start to find. ..... well leave it there :-) HAHAHA.

First pictures for @Gennaro : Bending of the most difficult plank.
