USS Bonhomme Richard 1779 1:48 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Beautiful photos of your amazing model - Very good work - and I mean everything includive the special case !!!!!
And I am sure she found a new proud owner....

Love your work and photos!

Your solution for crating was just what I came up with. I've shipped 3 models from Scotland to Hawaii to Bahrain to California to Colorado. Each has its own crate and I used yarn wrapped around strategic areas, passing through holes in the bottom of the crate. I did not attach anything to the masts like you did, as I was afraid of torque or flex in the crate.

This was just some typos that I corrected almost right away :) I meant
"after oil I covered the hull with bitumen varnish"

I realised now that maybe I should've better used "bituminous" rather than "bitumen"
Beautiful work Oleg! what type of oil finish did you use on the deck and planking to bring out the wood grain?
