USS Constellation 1797 Build Log...

@mtbediz1 I'm doing research, but I'm finding very limited information. I don't know why. Actually, I'm quite proficient with the internet. I don't know what else I can do. For example, the topic of gun caps you mentioned, or the angle between the anchor and the hull that @Papatotalos mentioned... I can only find limited information on these topics online.When you don't have enough information, you try to stick to the manufacturer's plan.

Let me put it this way, the gunports and anchors in our example are the same and standard on the ships from the same period. They are not different on every ship, just like the blocks, deadeyes, winches or other equipment. Don't just get hung up on information specific to Constellation.
