USS Constellation 1797 Build Log...

I’m sorry, my friend, but the mizzen mast shrouds are unacceptable. These shrouds should be pulling the mast backward toward the stern, not forward. The deadeyes should have been positioned further back on the ship's hull.

How are they shown in the kit’s plans?

I'll check the plan. But if that's the case, then this situation, that I overlooked this, is embarrassing for me.

Don't be embarrassed, I have so many things pointed out to me on a regular basis and redo's are part of this hobby. We never stop learning I think and that is part of the fun :D. Cheers Grant
 
Yes, this definitely needs to be corrected because it's a major mistake. We all learn by making mistakes. :)
