Mustafa - Beautiful planking, especially your tucks! And really like your process for detailing the copper tape. Well laid planks should make for a great surface to copper!
If that's you, just "trying" to do your best, then I see I have to try a lot harder.Thank you so much my friend. I am trying to do my best.
Great work with the copper plating, looks good, very inspiring. I like your method of marking the copper tape, thanks for sharing.I haven't been around for a while but now I'm back in action. I started copper plating the hull. Even though the nailing pattern is not very accurate historically, I prepare copper plates using my own methods because I like the way they look.
I use self-adhesive foil tape on copper plating

I agree with you Tony. Marc's plates are both accurate and flashier. I attempted to buy them but the cost of goods plus shipping would have cost me almost the price of a model boat kit, so I gave up. It's really expensive.Great work with the copper plating, looks good, very inspiring. I like your method of marking the copper tape, thanks for sharing.
I haven't decided yet how I'm going to do mine. The Amati plates on Marc's are very impressive but at a price, I'll experiment with the copper tape first.
Tony
Dear Marc,Dear Mustafa,
Just for my curiosity: how much would you pay via your websites? Are there so much differences in price?
Thank you for your interest PeterI love following your build process and learning your techniques.
Pete
Thanks for the advice Uwe. Yes, that's on my mind too, I'm just thinking about how I can do that properly.Very good work on the sheating
Just one small comment related to the thickness of the rudder blade - do not forget to reduce the width of the blade before coppering
At the bottom the blade is much thinner (green) than on the top (red)
