Yacht Harlingen, launched 1771 - scratch built by Ivan Trtanj

Just wonderfull - I am looking foirward to see her completely finished :cool:
 
Hallo liebe Freunde, die Yacht "Harlingen" ist nach 4 1/2 Jahren Bauzeit endlich fertig. Im Schiffsmuseum ist das neue Modell bereits eingetroffen, in der Kiste noch verpackt und wartet nun darauf, in einer Vitrine der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert zu werden. Die Vitrine befindet sich noch im Bau, voraussichtlich bis Dezember.
Die Yacht heißt nicht „Harlingen“, wenn das Modell in die Vitrine gestellt wird, dann folgt auch die Geschichte dazu....
Jetzt schon vormerken: Am Sonntag, dem 31. März 2024 um 11.00 Uhr wird das Modell feierlich zum Museum überreicht.

Hello dear friends, the yacht “Harlingen” is finally finished after 4 1/2 years of construction. The new model has already arrived at the ship museum, is still packed in the box, and is now waiting to be presented to the public in a display case. The showcase is still under construction, expected to be completed by December.
The yacht is not called “Harlingen”, when the model is placed in the display case, the story follows...

Das Modell ist im Museum nun ausgestellt und wartet noch auf seine Vitrine. Das Schiff ist gebaut und konstruiert in Harlingen (NL). Das Schiff war eine Transportjacht und wurde nach der Genehmigung der niederländischen Admiralität gebaut. Das Schiff hat für den Transport von den Niederlanden nach Petersburg (RU) gesorgt, auf dem Schiff bekanntermaßen Kaufmannsgüter, Zucker, Tee, Salz und andere Handelsgüter die in Petersburg verkauft worden sind. Für den Transport von Petersburg nach Niederlande zurück, wurden Pelze, Edelmetalle, Diamanten und Bernstein gebracht und zum Verkauf angeboten. In Petersburg war eine große kaufmännische niederländische Siedlung, leider konnte ich in dieser Siedlung nicht rein, da alles abgesperrt wurde.
