The model you created indeed deserves to be called a Ship-1 Pearl, it looks excellent, well done Thumbsup :)
 
Nice idea for the cannon ports. I was trying to figure ways to do the covers. This helped. Thanks for your posts. I am a newbie myself, this is my second model. Don't understand the rigging etc. so all these posts people do are a great help.
