Thanks for your response Gilbert. I think I have made my decision.Hi Jay
I did initially install the support the way you show.
However, I changed my mind and have put them the other way around, as shown in the documentation.
I remember that someone told me they were upside down. But I can't really remember who.
See below
Not sure anyway which one is correct

I just ordered a kit from Austrailia. I'm hoping ship time will be 8-10 days.Welp, I received the Soleil Royal from ZHL today. It took 8 days from shipping date, pretty good I think. Thought I would go ahead and start a build log and show the packaging. Still need to do an inventory of the parts. Won’t start working on it till I finish the Black Pearl though. Thanks Jay, but let me clarify, it's not the Soleil. I ordered the Matthew Turner Brigantine.Pete, it’s a fun build. I will follow your progress when you start a build log.
Pete, thanks for the kind words. This is only my second build. Never even made models when I was a kid. Sounds like your kit should arrive by Christmas. Seasons greetings to you too. Thanks Jay, but let me clarify, it's not the Soleil. I ordered the Matthew Turner Brigantine.
I was just concerned with the shipping time from Australia.
I'd love to have experienced builders like you following my build in any case.
Yours looks exquisite, truly museum quality. Very impressive.
Happy Holidays.
Pete
Thanks for the flowers Pete. It’s nice to know that there is someone else on this forum who has as bad of eyesight as myself lol.Great looking workmanship! Looking like museum quality.
Slow and steady does the trick!I installed the top forward deck and added a little weight to make sure it adheres well.

Also continuing to do work on the aft balconies, top gun ports and the framework for the aft flag pole.
