Model Shipways Armed Longboat [COMPLETED BUILD]

I’ve ordered the M/S 18th Century Longboat. No arms! But it looks like the same hull just minus the guns. Can anyone confirm or deny?

That's very odd. That's kinda the point of "18th Century Armed Longboat", the Arms I mean. Post again when it comes in mail whether there are cannon included and whether the practicum says anything about the cannon.

Jib rigging complete. This is the last of the running rigging. Small model so not a whole bunch of rigging. If you're going to do this model I highly recommend getting premium blocks and thread, it makes the final product so much better. Chuck Passaro blocks and rigging thread is the way to go.

Also added rope coils to the jib in-haul and the boom tie down rig. And of course tied up rope coils for the four belaying points using belaying pins.

Just a heads up, you probably have this already but: the main sheet is belayed with a slipped hitch to a pin, never tied off.

Congratulations that you finished the model - very good looking and a nice final place - Well Done!
and now? - How to use the free time? -> Is there any new project "in the pipe"?

I have a HMS Terror by Ocre, an HMS Beagle by Mamoli, and an HMS Surprise by Mamoli. I still haven't decided which one I'll get to next. then of course I'm still working on Rattlesnake at my other residence.

Absolutely wonderful! :)

I enjoyed all the photos, but wish I had received notifications. I've subscribed to topics and to follow TKAM, but I rarely get emails for new posts.
