H.M.Armed Cutter Alert 1777 1:48 POF kit

When can I order this? Thanks. Ilan
There are 25 members before you to order the kit,Trident is contacting members in order the they signed up ,at the moment processing is very slow as the only payment option is bank transfer,Trident is working on his site where Pay Pal will be an option

Just a quick question if I may. I am from Vancouver and asking what you paid for this kit in Cdn funds.
I am on the list somewhere but watching with BDI's

Yep, Paul, thanks. You are absolutely correct, I was using a black pencil market 'B' (soft), Lumograph brand. I didn't want it to be too prominent.
My kit is at customs at the moment after 30 days of difficult waiting, so hopefully can start soon, yeaaaaaah.
For caulking I will test blackened pva and blacken it with ink. Never used this before so this kit will be the first test.

That's a very good\prommising news, Maarten! Waiting for your build to start!!

Caulking was used in planking and deck boards to keep water out if I am correct.

So would ship builders caulk keel joints if they aren't exposed to water?

Just trying to understand if caulking is needed and where it was used.

It is possible that caulking was used on keel joints to prevent wood rot to the exposed ends of timbers. Poor mans emoji here "-"
