Enjoy your trip, it is a lot of fun to build this small gem.

You can try to remove it to dissolve the glue with nail polish remover.I have just realised that I stupidly glued CL15 to the Berth. Now I am wavering between two decisions: Break it off and cut it out of plywood or something, or leave it as it is and destroy it when I take the ship out of the Berth.
What do you think?
Many thanks for the tip. In fact, I was able to loosen the two parts with gentle pressure, suddenly and completely unexpectedly for the Berth. But it could have gone wrongYou can try to remove it to dissolve the glue with nail polish remover.
Good to hear from you, and I am glad that everything in order like you've planned. Why not start a build log for another Alert, the one you are currently building? This way members can watch your blog and possibly learn, yet, if you have any doubts and simply need help, we can help you. What do you think? At the same time I am working on the small version of the Alert from VanguardModels. I knew then that not every wrong cut would have terrible consequences like on a POF model.
The drop height is much lower here. In the meantime, I have finished the first planking and I will certainly find the time to work on the bows in the next few weeks.
For a new arm up it would be good , to click through the building logs we have here - also later on you will remember faster that you have seen this or thatAfter a somewhat longer construction break, I have started working on the cutter again.
I have glued the frames to the arch and am currently trimming them.
The first three frames have stickers for shaping.
Frame 4 is missing the templates and stickers.
I am currently in the process of constructing the slope for the inside and outside (I am considering using the templates from frame 5).
Unfortunately, I am not sure whether this route will lead to success. Or am I missing something?
One of the construction reports said that only minimal work was necessary on frame 4. But I can't remember which of you mentioned that.
Best regards
