The newly stained part is markedly lighter than the rest of the ship, but I am sure that the second coat which will I apply tomorrow, will even everything out. The combination of the CLOU and the Oak just works!

Thank you for the very kind words, my friend - that is very high praise indeed. There are a few places that I need to touch up with some more sanding and shaping, but at least I know that the configuration works and, most importantly, based on the information that I have, is historically accurate.

Tomorrow, I will do the final sanding - please excuse the sanding dust in all grooves - and then the CLOU can do its thing.
