Bugatti Type 35B [COMPLETED BUILD]

In your completed builds: ALFA (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili) Romeo. Auto correct is probably the culprit (I hope!)

A very interesting new project - The Bugatti T 35

Maybe you know, that they made in 1924 a nations cup racing and they used the T35 with different paintings

There was also an american car with this design

Maybe interesting for you to find the final touch

In the past I collected the model cars from cmc, therefore I know about it

Before going any further, I am listing the paint set. I got the paints from www.airbrushes.com as they are located in the UK. There are 12 bottles that I ordered. I also ordered a decent paint booth that has a fan in the back and a filter with LED lights. The Paint Booth was ordered from Amazon and the product is a
Master Airbrush Paint Booth as seen here:

Now, the paint list: (name on the left column and the LifeColor number on the right column.

Always nice to see the build of a Bugatti. After I visited the museum in Mulhouse many years ago I in love with Bugatti.
A visit to Molsheim and Altlußheim is still on my list.
Regards, Peter

A very light coat of flat wash always helps bring out some fine details not otherwise seen.

Still give the new look if not overdone.

Kurt,
how do you make a flat wash. I have seen variations on google. I am using acrylic paint and I have an acrylic paint thinner. So, I mixed some thinner with black - didn't do well. The paint just pools up - well, then I had to go back and repaint a surface. No harm done.

Ok, so, I saw a good video of a guy doing a tank. he used water and a tad of his color. Then he used a tad of liquid dish detergent. Brushed it on - let it dry - then come back with a dry or damp Q-tip and wipe off.

I will try that - unless you have another idea.

Pictures later of what I did.
