One of the next challenges is to keep the 6 statues adorning the vertical beams of the foredeck narrow enough so that the gun hatches remain movable.

Thank you Sergey. Maybe that's because I don't always look at the drawings myself .

Taking some artistic freedom I made some carving refinements to the catheads and made lionheads as ornamention on the head of the catheads. As the head of the catheads only are only 6x8 mm in size I had to pass on the lion's manes. Now the lion figurehead has 2 lionesses to keep him company, not a bad trade for him. It took me the better part of a day for something so small.

I know how difficult it is to make a small face like that. A little taken away to much wood and it is ruined. Impressive.
