Hey Hermann,

What are you building there? A cathedral? I'm only asking because this model is absolutely adorable. I'm speechless. Thank you for this ahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... effect! Beautiful model... :D Explosion Explosion Thumbsup

Yup. You've got a gift...
That is an incredible bit of carving in such a small area.

Nice carvings on the catheads it self and on the lion, Herman.

Good morning Herman. What Paul said. Definitely something to marvel at. Cheers Grant
Thank you very much for all your kind words. Much appreciated and motivating.

I know how difficult it is to make a small face like that. A little taken away to much wood and it is ruined. Impressive.
Thank you Stephan. When I started I first visited your build log, it was the first that came up looking for "lionhead".
Your remark "a little taken away... " is spot on. Even my usual modus operandi using steel wool is too much and will ruin details on this scale. I now use an old toothbrush to clean up afterwards.

Thank you Gunther for this generous comment. A cathedral?.. then I would have taken some further artistic freedom and have redesigned my simple scuppers into gargouilles, ROTF
