I managed to wrap up the second deck today. That's about one month of work which is very similar to the amount of time it took me to fabricate the first deck. It would seem I don't get faster with repetition

Repetition, however, does apparently come with a lack of attention: I installed the centerline carlings and coamings without cutting in the dovetails for the ledges. Cutting these
in situ is not for the faint of heart... it takes a steady hand and careful control of a very sharp chisel. In this case I got away with it, but I'll need to pay more attention going forward.
