Shipyard returned to the basement workshop, in Colorado last week.

Workers unpacked the mobile workshop AND packed for a month-long archery elk trip on 1 September!

The only work accomplished was the permanent installation of the mortar shells and their storage rack.

Shipyard workers will be off grid, at 11,000ft, chasing elk. Further shipyard work is contingent on the elk making a mistake! ROTF

My Son, Justin, is going to be so jealous. He enjoys hunting and 2 months ago bought a bow and has been getting some coaching. He is looking forward to an Archery hunt. You will have to send some photos.
Cheers Grant

Thanks Grant!

Awesome Justin is into archery. It is a calming zen like sport when practicing. Then on the hunt, it becomes the ultimate stalking challenge to get within bow range. Encourage his interest! Unless of course he can kick like Kolbe! What a game!

I'll post some photos when I come back down into internet land!

Happy B Day Brad !!!!
Hello Brad, I wish you all the best and a very happy birthday Birthday-Cake.
Enjoy the day.
Thanks for all the well wishes on my Medicare B-day!

Russ, The elk hunt was awesome! 21 days camped at 10,000feet (pics below). I did get an arrow into a young 3x3 bull but it was a shoulder hit, with little penetration. I spotted him a few days later and he was fine. Also called a mature 6x6 into100 yards but he spotted me (and not the cow he was hoping for).

I did get a nice B-day present on the 4th day of my pronghorn antelope hunt. (photo below).
