New kit 1:160 midship cross-section of the HMS Enterprise 1774

Made my order yesterday morning.
When there are a few more, perhaps time for a ‘Group Build’? With 2 sub-groups for the ‘Stern-Section’ and the ‘Midschip-Section’. :)
Regards, Peter

I received my Stern section from Dry-Dock this week. When I had it in my hands, I hesitated to order the midsection as I am afraid I will not be able to build it. But still it is jumping in my mind. Guys, please, start your build logs ASAP. I can take courage from them :-) .

Best !!
Daniel

I received my Stern section
I noticed on earlier photos they had posted that they include a double wheel which would be very unusual for a 28. RMG drawings for Enterprise 1774 and the contemporary contract call for a single wheel. I double checked other contracts on larger vessels of the era to see if they specify double wheels when called for and those contracts are explicit in describing a double. Not a big deal, but for such a nice kit, I was surprised this was missed.

Hello Alan,

I hope I have understood correctly. You write that the steering wheel should not be double, but that it should only be a single steering wheel, right? Or do you want to check that?

Interesting point. The 1/48 MD instructions show it as a single.
