1/30 HMS Royal Caroline Build

I highly recommend this book because it has multiple drawings & information from actual sailors. A gold mine of information!!!!
THANK YOU!!! I have this book, but have failed to use it very often as it is from the 19th century and I usually work with earlier period ships. Still, this book by Lever is something that I will reference much more often in the future as there are a LOT of things that are appropriate for earlier ships as well. Thanks again Rick.

WIP----
Hello everyone. Work continues on with the cannon(s) installation. I decided to show the cannons in a stored, secured position due to the fact the model is going to have the sails set and in a non combat sailing posture. I still have to complete the Block & Tackles & Train Tackle for each of the 8 cannons and a final touch up. I attached a couple of pictures of actual cannons for a reference since there is a multitude of different configurations one could use on a model.
Onwards we go...............................................

this is what I call an wonderful work, well done my friend :D Okay

I love the appearance of this rope material on the tackles, blocks etc.
To work in 1:30 has big advantages - everything is looking very realistic.
BTW: I am making in moment some research about use of anchor cables with the help of messenger - so I am studying your photos with big interest
