Piroscaf 28-foot Steam Cutter (1876) in scale 1:24 by Piroscaf Scale Models

I have not seen double planking before with the first layer diagonally to smooth out the curves for the second finish longitudinal planks. Maybe this is standard but I am learning every time that I cruise SoS. Best of luck with the steamer. Rich (PT-2)

The combination of diagonal and longitudinal planks is very common on steam boats of British design. Very strong hull.

Hi, everybody
We show the principle of laying a diagonal covering in the training material. We apologize that the material is only in Russian. We haven't resolved the issue with the translation specialist yet. If someone can take part in translating and editing our texts, we would be very grateful. Unfortunately, we did not learn foreign languages well at school. :p

HI DIMTRY AND UWE, THIS SOUNDS LIKE THE PROCESS HEINRICH USED ON THE LEUDO WITCH I TOO HAVE USED IT WORKS EXTREMLY WELL VEY WELL IN FACT. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE YOU AND YOURS DON

THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT I WET THE PLANKS USING COLD WATER FROM THE TAP THEN THE SOLDERING IRON AND GOT NO BURN MARKS AT ALL, IT SEEMS FOR SOME REASON THE WATER SETS UP THE GLUE QUICKLY AND ALSO SERVES AS TO KEEP THE BURN MARKES OUT. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE YOU AND YOURS DON

This is due to the high temperature. The applicator does not give this effect. Only a longer process. But we've been doing this for 10 years.

Were the gun parts in the kit, I don't remember them? Or is this a new option to buy?
Dmitry is keeping us posted and updated on the following:

1) The figures
2) The Gotchkis 37 mm machine gun
3) Tools for the steam boat
4) The extended set

He is very good about keeping us updated-
иметь терпение- I hope is Russian for "have patience"!
