Всего на настоящий момент установленно три реи на фок мачте. Количество для расклепления и имитации бух меня начинает немного пугать. А ведь еще две надо подготовить и установить. Заказал длинные пинцеты, пойду их получу.
A total of three yards are currently installed on the foremast. The amount for splitting and imitating the boom is starting to scare me a little. But two more need to be prepared and installed. I ordered long tweezers, I'll go get them.

Продолжаю приколачивать реи, вот уже и фок -мачта почти одета. Разложил хирургические пинцеты, дело идет не спеша...

Реи все на месте, осталось доработать бегущий такелаж и убрать аккуратно на палубе веревочки. И я буду готов к подъему флага Италии.

Добрый день!
Вот я и закрываю очередной свой проект. Как у нас говорят- По елочку. С Новым 2024 годом Всех.
Многое удалось сделать в этом проекте, что улучшить, что то испортить. Застекление иллюминаторов и кресло капитана, модернизация катеров и шлюпок, полное парусное вооружение (оказалось очень насыщенным).
Фото не самые удачные, но может потом и исправлюсь. Удачи Всем!

We managed to do a lot in this project, to improve something, to spoil something. Glazing of portholes and the captain's chair, modernization of boats and dinghies, full sailing armament (it turned out to be very intense).

Gulnara - 1/50 scale construction of a side steam ship​


Aviso of the Sardinian Navy. Built in 1834 in England and in the service in 1835 placed in the Navy of Sardinia, the Gulnara is a typical example of the Transition from sailing ship to steamship. The steam engine was at this Ship only as pure auxiliary drive. The ship was still full sailable.
As an observation, escort and passenger ship, the Gulnara did service for Sardinia until 1861. Then it was taken over by the Italian Navy. The Gulnara was with an oscillating steam engine from Fawcett & Preston, Liverpool, equipped. Part of the bike shovels could be sailed on ride to swive up to reduce the driving resistance.

It is an attractive and representative model of the transition from sailing to steam. I would paint the hull in black and the deck elements such as cabins, skylights, etc. in white. Amati has brass decorations that would suit the ship well.

Thank you. I'm also thinking about coloring and improving the design. It's interesting about Amati, we need to look for it. The kit has not been delivered to me yet, after receiving it, I will sign its composition and recommendations. I will ask for advice on improvement!
