Hello folks, here is my new build log for this beautiful ship and kit, I skip the unboxing as Jim did a beautiful job on it along with a kit review.

So I kicked off assembling the jig, the parts not required any sanding, they fit together as they are perfectly, using wood glue, clamps, and some weights

Hello, Mon Amie! This is the one I will definitely watch as I will start my build log pretty soon! It does look, it is a straightforward process, and you don't have any trouble assembling the initial jig. For those who might wonder, there is a total of three jigs. First for the upper hull, second for the lower hull, and the third one for the entire ship assembly.

Good luck, and Sail ON!

So that sounds like three logs and a fourth for the ship and all without a log jamb in the flow I suppose???
Fun every step of the way with three warm-up builds and one longer . . . much longer one. This will be interesting to follow. Rich (PT-2)

Hello folks

Assembling the upper hull frames, there is a right side and a left side, both sides have frames that are made up of 2 parts that need to be glued together, this glued frame parts on each side of them shows/have laser engrave to show where needs to be beveled.

Those laser cut sheets of frames look like a parade of goose-stepping troops shoulder to shoulder. Your work is definitely getting them in place very well done. This is going to be interesting and I hope enjoyable for you. Rich (PT-2)
