This is the build log of my POF Bluenose.
I started with the frames. I glued and beveled the first 10 frames and placed them in the jig, as a holder.
The jig was screwed down to a piece of plywood, to prevent warping. The plywood will be removed later for access.
I then started on the next frames, 11-20...
This time I used the help of a Dremel tool on the bevel work. Once close to the bevel line, I switched to the file again and did the final work .
When I glue and clamp the frames, I use the full size plans as a guide to ensure the frame profile is correct. I also sand the faces after the glue dries, prior to gluing the halves to one another.
Installing frames 1 and 49 to the keel, in preparation to attach to the jig...the tail section of the keel has also been installed using frame 49 as a guide.
