Wow...that’s a lot of food!
An Indonesian Rijsttafel ( Banquet ) you can make it as elaborate as you like , brought up with it when in the Merchant Navy ( Navy) still tradition in the Royal Netherlands Navy , it takes me a couple of days preparation and always a winner amongst our guests , anyway more of my BN , the blocks are a headache and I will stick to already made ones , it is like writing a letter with elephant paws, I ran out so will have to order more .Wow...that’s a lot of food!
Hi Henk , we live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and what you are facing is Scotland Island ,water access only .Your BN looks great !

The masts as from today are in fixed correct position and done , the fwd mast straight , the Main one slightly a couple of degrees backwards leaning as it should , there is still a lot of work Dean , rigging and of course the deck structures and whale boats , what else... I might give the deck frames a coat but not until everything is in placeLooking good Robert, you’ll be done soon! I typically like to complete everything on the deck prior to starting the masts and rigging. Are your masts in permanently or temporarily?
Are you going to put on sails? The masts as from today are in fixed correct position and done , the fwd mast straight , the Main one slightly a couple of degrees backwards leaning as it should , there is still a lot of work Dean , rigging and of course the deck structures and whale boats , what else... No Sails Dean , I like the look without it , that’s why I want to get the rigging really looking good and that’s a challenge in itself I supposeAre you going to put on sails?
I have been leaning towards doing sails, but I’m not sure at this point. Sails can make it look really nice, and sometimes they just take away from the ship...so much rigging and if the cloth isn’t right, it can look horrible or fake. It’s a double edged sword...lolNo Sails Dean , I like the look without it , that’s why I want to get the rigging really looking good and that’s a challenge in itself I suppose
The Bowsprit rigging quite a challenge and looked at various options , I looked at the plan and the way suggested was no option so I used brass wire instead and solder , unfortunately the little holes on the anchor shaft gave the ghost so had to improvise something else , so basically below deck level on the outside is finished and will continue on deck and eventually the riggingHi Robert,
Nice to see the filling of the deck and the masts and booms. Now she shows her full potential.

Thank you Heinrich , I cannot thank enough other member’s input especially Dean he is a huge inspiration , am sure other members agree with meShe is coming along beautifully Robert. The masts give her a real business-like appearance and those views .... they are to die for!!! If I think of my "view" ...
I know the view is sensational , only an hours drive from Sydney CBD on the Northern BeachesShe is coming along beautifully Robert. The masts give her a real business-like appearance and those views .... they are to die for!!! If I think of my "view" ...
