Bomb Ketch Salamandre 1:48

Nice trout! (And nice model, of course).
 That's a beast! So much for catch and release ROTF.
Good morning Brad. Living the life for sure. I’m not sure if a trout would braai nicely however we would definitely give it a go ROTF . Cheers Grant
Glad everyone likes the trout (and the little Salamandre).

Paul, I release 60-75% but keep bigger kokanee and rainbow.

Grant, I'm addicted to trout on the BBQ (with diced garlic, butter and some Old Bay seasoning) and slow smoking them in our smoker! We might braise at home but don't cook fish in the trailer :D !

No fishing today for obvious reasons but lots of treenailing and gunport finishing. Picture was taken at noon today!

Significant events since last post:
1. Our rottweiler puppy ate one of La Salamadres' risers.
-Rumor has it, our grandkids may have learned a new "word" from G'pa!
2. Brother-in-law passed in his sleep, three weeks ago, unexpectedly. :(:(
-Moved the RV/shipyard to California, for the memorial service (last Saturday).
4. Today, workers finished planking/nailing, up to the quarterdeck rails.
-The effect is what I was trying to accomplish.
-From normal viewing distance, the wale plugs are not apparent.
-Close up, the plugs are very subtle, but visible.
-The metal plugs above the wales are subtle from certain angles.
-From other angles the reflection on the metal "pops".

5. Was also able to finish a coffee table for our living room during the two weeks at home.

Must be hard to keep a puppy away from a work area in an RV. Still the dog ate it, is one of the oldest excuses... Love the dining table. Good luck with the pup.

Good morning Brad. I’m sorry to hear about your Boet. Always a shock when it is unexpected. Please pass my condolences on to his family.

Ahh now I see how nailing should be done….i like the subtly you achieved- shot.
