Hi all,

Slowly but surely continued with the cannons for deck B. Progress is slow as I don't have that much time to work on the model. 8 cannons are done, only 18 left to do. After that I'll start rigging up the cannons. I'll probably won't be rigging all the cannons, only those you can see, but who knows. I might like it...

Indeed, the cannons are part of the kit. I modify them myself.

Maik, I have made my Cannons for The Bounty, which I hope to build, and I did it as a basis to be able to work to scale measurements.
Turning up the cannons and making the carriage and trucks with the gear in my Backyard has been quite an accomplishment.
I have completed one, and I have to assemble the rest of the Cannon carriages and fit the cannons to them. Again, I say it is an exercise for my brain to learn to live in the world of scaling down to miniature, as I come from a background of heavy-duty machining and fitting. It maybe can be called a brain shrink for me in more ways than you can imagine. What I mean by that is try to hold the accuracy but to tiny objects which can be daunting as the eyes, the brain, and the thinking, sort of lessens. LOL, but it's fun to do, even if it's at the wrong time of life to do.
Even in these two cannons, you can see the difference, but once they are actual size, then it's a bit more pleasant to look at with my failing eyes LOL. They are made at 1:48 scale and are about 1.5" long
