Last finition of down part of the quarter deck's guard-rail, for making it all like the rest of built's similar details :
No, at scale 1/72, I think that making a realistic rigging is a quasi impossible job for me

Here, my cake, out of provisory frame, next step of nice details, the upper rails and all timbers 1 x 1 mm walnut :
Today, I was unproductive, I've just cut and glued the rails, before the next step of timbers (it looks symmetric) :
The first step of very laborious adding walnut timbers 1 x 1 mm (six were done, about thirty pairs when finished) :

I don't think I'll go to that extent of details on the heller soleil royal "lifeboat" (? not sure about the term).
It's a "longboat" (weight = eight thousand pounds), the two others are "great"= barge and "small" = cutter

Another new english word (being honest, I'm not sure what the french word is for those kind either). I'd say your wooden work is detailed just fine compare to heller soleil royal (or their other sailing ships like the royal louis)
When I was eighteen old (a long, kong time ago...) I've built an Heller plastic model of Royal Louis (en français = bof...)
The Soleil Royal had a best reputation, but it's a great deal for transform it through painting into an acceptable model

I plan lots of modification when I'll get mine (figurehead, carving and ornements, enlarging the sternpost)
The problem is that such a transformation is more difficult than an entire creation "ex nihilo", because this process is at the same time a demolition and a construction which are two distinct and discreet approaches - too complicated for an old modeller like me !

For me, it's easier to do that than reconstruct the whole thing, I'm more able to work on plastic/styrene/magic sculpt than wood
Each artist is free to choose his mode of expression, as long as it brings him a lot of happiness 
Today, I decided carefully to cut immediately the supports of boat, I am now little more quiet :
