New kit Galleon "San Bartolome - 2"

I well remember our discussions abt rigging of this kit in the past ... :)
Final result - this is came out a vonderfull product, but have some questionable spots...:)))
From other side, it could be considering as advantage for future builders, they will have fields for discussions and stimuls to study 16th-17th riggings...:)))
If You could afford Evgeny elizabethian galleon design strictly as he made it, and than to develope kit of it , it will be just а mega bomb!!!

Yes, of course, Eugene designs in great detail and, most importantly, very reliably. With the art style, we decided to take a break for a few years) The next five or six developments will be in a completely authentic style. I am now drawing a model designed in a way that is not typical for Eugene: Drakkar "Golstad" It is planned for the end of autumn. And behind him is not a large English galleon of the 17th century.
Yes, I also hope that this madness will not last long.

The queue will no doubt also reach the galleon "Golden Hind". But at this time, Eugene is designing another galleon, it is used in the same overall dimensions, and from the same era. I will not reveal the name yet, this is Evgeny's right)) I can only say that the development of this project is a cut above that of the "Golden Hind" project. Over the past years, Evgeny's professionalism has grown many times, therefore the level of his projects is simply incomparable))
 
And Eugene raised this level at least twice! I can’t publish working drawings yet, but take my word for it, probably there are no more serious and detailed drawings of early galleons. And by the way, this is just a warm-up before "Elizabeth Jonas"))

thanks for your support in creating the Golden Hind plan
currently I am working on a relatively small galleon of about 115 tons, such a small workhorse of the Elizabethan age, the basic plan is based on Thomas Harriot's notes on shipbuilding, soon I will open a post with more details.

But there are already many model kits of the Golden Hind. Would not a unique example be better, something different?

Yes, it is ...I could say, very different...
Most famous ,between others, versions of GH, I think , that one which was created by Mondfeld....a long time ago.. :))).Screenshot_20220721-100924_Drive.jpg
Eugen's version based on more modern works, archeological findings and studies about galleon era... and final result looks significant different and this reconstruction, from historical point of vew - very interesting,more accurate,if I could say that...
