Definitely ready to get to that stage, and then put filler where its needed. She is a sleek shipReally loving the lines on this ship. She's going to be impressive once sanded!
Good morning Derek- impressive!! I love the way the bar bends on the 300kg lift. I struggle to pick up a 25kg bag of braai wood . Cheers GrantFrom this past weekend. My other hobby.

She got very nice lines, Derek. It’s a good base for her finishing lines.50 hrs so far and finally finished the first layer of planking on her. Gonna let the glue finish drying and then I'll sand and put wood filler getting her prepped for the second layer of planking.

Good morning Derek. Excellent. This is a good looking ship and thus far you are owning it. Cheers GrantWell today I was able to sand one side of the hull. Got her roughed out with some 120 grit. I'll sand the other side tomorrow and then hit her with some some putty then come back with some 220 grit.
Decided that I would work on some of the deck furniture while I was inbetween sanding. Got the winch for the anchors built and dry fitted on the deck. And got the helm done too. Thank you sir. And it's all brush painted too. I dont have a air brush machine and didnt have rattle cans lolWell done Derek. Nice selection of colors.
Stunning Derek!Over the past few morning after getting off work I managed to get the launches and the dingy painted.
The kit supplied stickers as covers went going to cut it so I had some ole sail cloth laying around and decided to put it to good use. I used the stickers as templates for the general shape of them then used the same paint as I used for the bottom of the ship and painted the cloth.
Also managed to get the water line more defined with the black line separating between the white and green. Definitely looks much better. View attachment 336546View attachment 336547View attachment 336551View attachment 336548View attachment 336549View attachment 336550
