3d printed a sanding wheel that is suitable for sanding frames in my jig I showed earlier.

All rough sanding is done before assembly. After assembly, all that remains is fine sanding to get a cleaner and smoother surface. This sanding is not done with any fancy machines but with sandpaper and fingertips. This can be a stressful job if you have to sand a lot.

Parts for Capstan. Centrum parts is of plastic. Maybe I'll make my own in wood. Does anyone have an idea of what color is suitable for the capstan? Or is it good to keep it wood colored?

On some ships, the capstan was painted red

Hello.I agree with your opinion.this sailboat was a simple workhorse.I think it would be appropriate to darken it with, for example, bitumen varnish.but without painting.IMHO
