Thank you Paul. I try to put down each plank as accurately as possible to minimize sanding afterwards. I have done enough of that sanding those filler blocks.
Thank you Stephen. I am happy with how the planking looks but progress is very slow. I just have to accept the fact that sometimes one plank a day will be the going rate. You just cannot rush prepping the oak, shaping it and fitting it.

Mt friend don't speak too soon. Next up is the zandstrook (garboard strakes) which have to be bent through 45 degrees!I think, that the little ship is loosing the fight

Ron, I have no doubt that the hull will survive the fall. I am confident that is certainly not going to shatter into a million pieces. It might suffer broken frame ends and dents and grazes hull, but she will survive. I am not about to test it though! Also bear in mind that when the outer planking is done, the entire inner section above deck level gets double-planked as well.That would certainly test how robust it was constructed.
Thank you my friend, I am very haapy that you like her. With what I have done and completed so far, I am very happy. This weekend, Admiral A has declared the oak as her favorite and, believe me, that says a lot. She loves WB #1 just as much as I do.
