today I proceeded to take care of the parts that make up the gunwale, and finished the one side. All the fitting is without gluing, but on dry fitting

I can well image that those cap railings must have been quite a challenge - especially seeing that the holes are not all opened. The dry-fit though, looks excellent. You can get out the glue my friend!
