Piękna pracą. Jakiego preparatu używasz do oksydowania metalowych części. Pozdrawiam Mirek

The planking is looking good - well done
I like the used red paint - may I ask, which colour of which producer it is?

Dear Uwek
My dear friend, Thanks for the compliments :)
I'm mixing two shades of red color, in equal proportion. I'll send a picture in the next day.

good evening dear friends
I'm progressing in The work on the winch, that build up from milled segments creating an octagon drum.
I cut The individual drums from the cherry wood part sheets. I leave the edges on to keep the parts ridged during sanding. After sanding I cut away the edges.
I take each part of the octagon and cut the edges with a scalpel and sand it gently to keep the joining lines (along the octagon) as clean and straight as possible. It's a bit of a Sisyphus job and requires patience. I connected and created two pairs of 3/8 of the octagon and the two remaining parts stuck together. Pay attention to the angle and width of the parts that create the difference in the size of the octagons at the edges. After sanding down I cut loose all the segments and glue them around a 3 mm stick for the outer drum parts, and a 4 mm stick for the inner drum parts. Most of the winch parts are ready, I believe that tomorrow I will finish the last two and start making dry adjustments between the parts and the deck.
Good night everyone :)

hello dear friends
After several days of work the front winch is installed in the bow, including the deck around it (not fully/continuously).
I worked a lot on the adjustments between all the many parts of the winch, adjustment to the parts in the upper deck as well as into the lower deck.
I will let you get an impression of the result as I recorded in the pictures.
wish you all a pleasant day
