Its a great feeling to get her out. The wood also sands really well. Don't sand to hard as she is still a little delicate till all the internal support framing is done.
After internal framing is done she is solid as a rock!

Hello Jolley Roger. How is your Alert build goes? You have not posted any updates for a long time. We are curious to see the progress.

Thanks for the interest Jimsky!
I went and bought a house, so Alert is on the backburner until we are settled in. There's some stuff that needs(according to the Admiral)changing and fixing, so will have a bit less time for the shipyard for a while.
At least I get a room with a view
