Since I am building the 1:32, I have a powered jig saw (ryobi) and I guess that I should use something like a 3/8" chisel to knock out the teeth of the jig. The scroll, saw will cut into the tooth, but I am talking about the other part of the tooth that the saw can't get to.
Hi Donnie,
Cut a series of kerfs in the waste, break the strips off with a knife or chisel and use a small file to clean out the corners and finish the notch.
I have that show in my build log.
All nine frames will be available in Part 2 of the build.
There are two ways to build the frames the first is to cut out all the patterns, glue them to the wood, rough cut and sand the parts to size and assemble the frames. That is the fastest way.
The second way is to treat each frame as a separate project, by starting with one frame and completing it before starting the next frame. You won’t get as bored and will see progress as you go along. The frames quality and your skill level will improve faster using this method.
Project Update Part 2
Building Jig Top Revision:
When I ran a trial fit on the first frame in the jig it did not seat in the keel, by adding a 30-degree bevel to the center of the top at each notch will eliminate the problem. The angle and depth of the bevel is approximate, no need to check it with a protractor if the frame seats in the keel it is fine. See photos in my build log.

They are corrected now. Sorry about that. Trying to keep up actually (in code) 36 drawings and making sure all the web code is right is kind of confusing given the long file names to keep things in order.
Go back to page and do a browser REFRESH to make sure the NEW material is there. Otherwise, you will still have the same stuff stuck in your browser cache.
Mike needed to re write the instruction set for PART two - the addendum is at bottom of page. Just go to the link for PART 2 and download the instructions.
My PM containing Part One disappeared after the crash last week before I could download it, and this morning I was asked to delete all PM's related to the Blandford. So when someone has time, AND ONLY WHEN THERE IS TIME, could I get both parts sent to me again. Absolutely no rush.
