HMS ENTERPRISE 1774 by RichardJJS 1:48 scale. New Kit from M.D

Just realized your Orlop is built( as per instruction) upside down, all carlings level with surface.
Apologies for my error, Realized all as I got into their construction….moving along, carlings next.
P.S. everything done with medium CA.
P.P.S., For decking, I did not remove char, IMO results in very nice result.

As my brother always says…”shot dot”!

Gentlemen,
Although the question is being forwarded to Victor, response time seems less than ideal, thus the question here for any thoughts.

There seems to be a part number error regarding the forward platform[ step 47] regarding the vertical beams indicated as #C7.
I find no C7 and it appears the correct part seems to be #7 on C1 which is a large, uniquely morticed piece.
Any thought, appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

There seems to be many places where an incorrect part number is given. I helped Richard with one a little while ago. When I find them for my build, I'm noting them in my build log.
a part number C7 is an incomplete part number as there needs to be a number with the letter to properly identify the sheet. The parts he asked me about were listed in the instructions as F2-a, F2-b and F2-c. I believe I found them on B27, parts a, b and c. So, it would not surprise me at all.
I believe the errors in part numbers is due to the differences in language. Consider it an added bonus that you get a free puzzle with your kit. ROTF
