Hi Paul. I was curious as to why so many of us shipbuilders got excited when the POF models are removed from the jig. I now know why....it was rather enjoyable. I am very happy how it came together. I have some work to do on a few cant frame joints and obviously plenty of sanding. I also need to come to a decision on how I am going to present her and start planning this.......it will differ from the kit design.
Good morning Russ, Jack and Brad. Thank you. I have been rather zealous with my shipbuilding lately. I have mentioned to guys before that I wake up very early (like 4am - not by choice) and I play with my ship while the rest of my world sleeps. The over zealous part comes when it is 10am and I'm still in the shipyard
. So plenty of hours have been put into her in those short 3 months.Brad thanks for the comment on the symmetry of the carlings, ledges etc. It is something I paid a lot of attention to as it is my intention to change up the kit and have a more open build and "wiggly" carlings etc wouldn't do. There are some which gave me trouble and the joins are not perfect etc, but you have to look for these vs them jumping out at you.

.Thanks Peter. True story although the removal from the jig was not meant to be part of the equation. The partners, pump ports were being worked on and I was not getting much satisfaction with my scratch building so I just decided it was time to take here out of the jig. I will spend more time finishing the scratch work and pick this up again....it may be a redo. Nothing is glued here.
