I think there is room in shipmodelbuilding for both the perfectionists and those who are satisfied with the completion of a kit that isn't warped. If one group dropped out, they would be sorely missed. The great thing about SHIPS OF SCALE is that it is a place where newbies can find ways to avoid making mistakes that would result in a warped model fit only for the trash. So, BRAVO ZULU to you all, the tyros who want to do better, and the Experts willing to give their precious time to help anyone struggling to get it right. A ruined model may very well send a beginner back to some silly waste of time instead of our elegant pastime.
