Oh,one more thing. I now have a small anniversary to celebrate. 2 years ago I started building the HMS Euryalus. Unfortunately, now the pictures of the construction are no longer posted so quickly, because I am now building in real time. I hope you have enough patience to wait for it.

your work on the pumps is looking very good. Bravo
You show us the "Alumium Black" from Birchwood.
Is is blackening either the brass wire with the solder (Lötzinn) ?
I have sometimes problems with "Brass Black" or the similar product of Balistol, that the brass is getting black, but not the solder....
