The brackets are made of brass wire 1.0 mm. The sleeve consists of brass tube 1.2 x 1.0 mm. It was soldered with Bengs silver solder paste. Blued with Aluminum Black by Birchwood Casey (is better than Brass Black)

You show us the "Alumium Black" from Birchwood.
Is is blackening either the brass wire with the solder (Lötzinn) ?
I have sometimes problems with "Brass Black" or the similar product of Balistol, that the brass is getting black, but not the solder....
