Flag of the Red Squadron 1707–1800

The senior (red) squadron was usually placed in the centre of the line of battle, and always led by the commander-in-chief of the fleet, initially the Admiral of England, later called Lord Admiral until the creation of the rank of Admiral of the Fleet in 1688. During this period his van division was led by the Vice Admiral England (Red) and his rear division by the Rear Admiral of England (Red). From 1688 the Admiral of the Fleet's van division was led by the Vice Admiral of the Red and his rear division by the Rear Admiral of the Red. In 1805 the rank of Admiral of Red was created; the van and rear commands remained the same
Interesting, and somewhat conflicting, information (on Wikipedia). With the Red Squadron flag always being led by the Admiral of the Fleet, do you think it appropriate that the Granado would be a part of that fleet? I would have thought it relegated to a lower position, with larger warships being a part of the Admiral's squadron.

Én is készítettek egy Granadot. 1:36 léptékben.
Sajnos kevés a szabadidőm, ezért lassan haladok.

I also made a Granado. 1:36 scale.
Unfortunately, I don't have much free time, so I'm moving slowly.

Hallo Attila,
what an honor, that you are visiting my building log and show your actual project here.
In my opinion your HMS Pandora is one of the best ship model I ever saw - amazing and outstanding quality

And also your actual work on your Granado is following the same principle - absolutely highest quality and accuracy.

I can recognize, that you are following the framing elevation (full frame at every room and space) from sketch B4/1 shown in the Goodwin book.

It would be great, if you would start a building log in our forum showing your work - no problem with language (we can translate) and also if your posts are rare because of available time - but your work should be shown

BTW: My wife is hungarian, our daughter is half hungarian - unfortunately I am not able to speak your beautiful, but very complicated language

and now at the end of this post I would like to show all other members his beautiful Pandora

Truly a masterpiece...if only us poor mortals could come somewhere close

Your right about the language.
My father was also Hungarian. And I'm also not speaking that complicated language. I tried to learn it, but to difficult and to different to ours. My last name is Kertész. I have always to spell that to others.

Attila tökéletes modellt készített. Pandorája a modellkészítésben dolgozik, amit Ivan Trtanj a faragásban alkot. Soha nem juthatunk el oda.
János
Nagyon köszönöm!
Várom a Clout amit a hajódon láttam, kíváncsi vagyok hogyan fog kinézni a gőzölt körtefán.
A Pandorán satin (félfényes) lakkot használtam.

Thank you very much!
I'm waiting for the Clout I saw on your boat, I'm curious how it will look on the steamed pear tree.
I used the Pandora satin (semi-gloss) polish.

Exquisite craftsmanship. Such fine detail it looks like a real ship even in close-up images.
