Alright folks,the first garboard plank is now on ,tomorrow morning I will glue the other one on too and planking goes on

Above whale is Alaskan yellow cedar

I made more progress on the port side planking,not perfect but this only the first layer,it will be a guideline to correct the mistakes I made on the first layer ,actually a practice dress rehearsal for the second layer.
Very nice progress, Zoly. Her shape coming alone even this is only a first layer.
This is my way doing edge bending

2.clamping into shape
3.using a hair dryer to dry the plank
4.glue it into place
