Finished the lower planking and started to tidy it up a little (long way to go)there is an edging strip on the bottom of the keel in 5 pieces and given how accurate the laser cutting is it's strange that is is 35mm to long unless i have missed something so i will cut it to size after fitting the sternpost
I have done a little bit of assembly on the chain pumps

I painted the chain pump parts and fitted the cut water and stern post it needs a bit more sanding but as there is 3 inches of snow outside and i am banished from the house when sanding and it is freezing in the greenhouse it will have to wait for now

I have assembled and fitted the rudder cover and finished the capstan i was looking at the stove but have a bit of a problem with the base not matching the assembly drawings and other builds so i have purchased the anatomy of the ship (Pandora) on eBay and hoping when it arrives it will help

I have fitted the hatches there is a design flaw the hatches have a couple of mm radius on the corners and the deck is laser cut square but it doesn't look to bad from a distance

A little more progress i fitted a bit more planking (Cladding Really) and started fitting the cabins

Fitted the rest of the cabins and a little of the stern planking for some reason i ended up with unexpected gap so i suspect i may have done something wrong along the way i filled it with an offcut but suspect i may have to do some rectification later
Added a bit more deck fittings

Thank you for the kind words I feel the kit is probably to advanced for my lack of knowledge of Ships and model building (The instructions are very basic but the support from manufacturer is first class) So i am not expecting to do the kit justice but hope to end up with at least a nice ornament

I have added a little more planking on the bow a couple of bits and a staircase (Seems a long way down to the first step) and fitted some of the cannonball racks
They are provided in the kit but not shown anywhere on the deck plan or the instructions?

I have added a few more bits of deck fittings a staircase and the capstan and a few cannon balls

Very good work. May I ask what glue you use to affix the wooden planks to the resin fittings?

Thank you for your kind words i used Loctite Power gel for most of work i have found the applicator very easy to get the glue in the right place instead of all over me

I have added more deck fittings and a few more cannon balls and a few bits at the bow i have noticed the Cathead goes between two ribs on the 3d printed parts and will need cutting back ( I wish i had noticed that before planking the exterior)
