HMS Pandora - Modelship Dockyard - Build log

Good going, Roger. Even though it's obviously a good thing to read ahead, there's always that one thing that seems to catch one out! Your deck fittings look very good!

I have abandoned the galley for now as i am struggling with bending the photo etch parts so i added a few parts at the bow a bit rough but a light sanding should help
I have finished the titanic after a fashion and as i tend to hop from one thing to another so i am going to have a go at the Hayling hoy

I decided to have a go at the gun carriages (The little Victory I built bit not have them you just stuck the cannons in the side of the ship) they are a bit rough so I have painted them to try and tidy them a bit
When i get to the rigging eventually i have no idea what size rope to use so any advise would be gratefully received

Roger J, I have read your progress to date in one session. Very impressed with your workmanship, and the quality of the design. Congratulations to you, and the designers. Wondering about the use of 3D prints, but I suppose that the same was said when plywood keels and bulkheads were introduced. And use of laser cut parts and super glue. In the end, the accuracy and attractiveness of the finished model will determine the success of your build. Thankyou for posting. One result is that I am considering this one as my next build.
