HMS Prince 1670 1:48

One of the first things that jumped out for me are the top timbers. They look to be to scale regarding the moulded (in and out) dimension. Far too often, especially with all but one or two kit makers, they are far too thick. For a 100 gun ship of this era the moulded dimension would be about 5 inches or so and yours look great!

Анатолій, чудова робота, мені дуже подобається. Але у мене є питання щодо прямих ліній нагелювання - це так в кресленнях зображено? Просто Ждан колись писав, що правильніше було б нагелювання робити під кутом, типу щоб бімс не розколоти. [UKR]

Anatoly, great work, I really like it. I have a question about the straight line of nails on the deck - is that what the drawings show? Zhdan once wrote that it is correct to drive nails at an angle so as not to split the beam that goes from below.

The nails, depending on the width of the board, were driven in different ways, I read somewhere that one nail was driven on narrow ones, slightly wider diagonally, and wide in a row. I have wide ones. And to split 30 cm beams, you still need to try. He made the drawings himself, as he drew, so he did.
