Hi all
Just a small update as I'm waiting for my ordered tiles .I put on a false keel to finish off the bottom of the ship. Then confusion sets in because the rudder connections are shaped the wrong way.i think i will put them on and just make my own connections. Cheers all any ideas would be great. G'day all
Well tiles came in and coppering is finished ,for me that was a long journey but rewarding.
Now I have moved on to the rudder which is also going be an effort as I moved up the pintles size as I couldn't make a ninety degrees without the brass snapping.
It is only minor and all should be good .

Hi all
I finished the rudder with nails and also the 2 back gun covers i have now noticed that the rudder is going to take a while as it isn't exactly easy to line everything up.
All good and steady as she goes .

G'day all
Well we have a long weekend so it will now be time to paint ,drill ,and tie a lot of thread for the upper gun deck .
I have just put on the capstans,sail rings and the stove .
When I'm waiting for paint to dry I still have gratings and stairs to make.
I'll see how far I get all good.

hi all
Well more time off work so it was time for painting and varnishing ,from cradles to guns to parts of the deck .now I'm not sure if I want to paint the 2mm copper eyelets as there is not much room in the hole as it is.the plans say to paint black. ( any ideas) Or should I say my ship and they stay copper.( Oh decisions) all good all stay safe and catch you all soon.

Been a couple of weeks
Couldn't log in
Well been pretty busy with work so I got the lower guns nearly done and have started painting all lower guns also have started stairs and grates .now the fun part of putting on stantions and rope to the lower deck .I'm also going to fully rig them .

As i have shown before I'm going with option 2 for the upper gun deck.
I'm glad there is no time limit on these as just one gun took me 3 hours.all good only 27 to go
Ps: pity they will get covered over but I will have proof in the photos plus I think it will be good practice

It's been about a month since my last input .
Well work picked up and now very hot i darwin.
All good I'll finish off the guns hopefully before Christmas
